WNS SHRINKER/STRETCHER (SSF25) accommodates mild steel sheet up to 1.2mm thick. This double headed, heavy duty metal shrinker/stretcher combination is great for making smooth professional shop quality radius bends in sheet metal without cutting, heating, or hammering the material. The foot pedal operation leaves the operators hands free to handle the panel they are trying to shape. The shrinker contracts the metal for inside curves and the stretcher expands the metal for outside curves. These machines are predominantly used on body panels for cars and aeroplanes, however, are great for creating trim flanges, door edges, channels and wheel arch rims in flat or right angled sections.
