WNS PNEUMATIC PLANISHING HAMMER (PH498) is used for shaping sheet metal by hammering against a shaped surface. Pneumatic hammers vastly speed up the process by striking thousands of blows per minute. Planishing is a process used in auto body repair and sheet metal craft work such as medieval armour production. This hammer has a hardened steel hammer head, stainless steel main shaft and comes complete with a filter/regulator and foot pedal.
