WNS PNEUMATIC PLANISHING HAMMER (PH508B) is used for shaping sheet metal by hammering against a shaped surface. Pneumatic hammers vastly speed up the process by striking thousands of blows per minute. This Planishing Hammer has a 508mm throat and can accommodate mild steel sheet up to 1.2mm thick. Planishing is a process used in auto body repair and sheet metal craft work such as medieval armour production. This hammer is operated via foot pedal, leaving hands free to work and has a hardened steel frame.
