WNS/INGERSOLL RAND 18swg (1.2mm) PITTSBURGH LOCK AIR CLOSING HAMMER is used for closing 18swg Pittsburgh Lock and lighter material. The force and speed of the hammer blows can be regulated by the depression of the trigger. Please note:  Air Hammer Springs and Hammer Heads are consumable parts.  The Hammer must only be operated when in contact with material and the pressure must be adjusted in accordance to the material being used.

MAINTENANCE/LUBRICATION:
IMPORTANT – FAILURE TO FOLLOW THE BELOW WILL INVALIDATE ANY WARRANTY ON THIS PRODUCT.

The air supply in this machine must be oiled regularly to ensure the valve and piston remains suitably lubricated.

To maintain optimal use of the machine the air supply must remain free from moisture; therefore the use of an inline filter/oiler is recommended. If an inline oiler is not being used, it is essential that the user removes the airline daily/on each day of use and adds 1 to 2 drops of oil. Failure to do so may result in operational issues and will void any warranty.

A build up of moisture and lack of lubrication in the hammer and air supply may result in intermittent hammering and the internal valve to malfunction.

All capacities are based on the use of rollforming quality mild steel unless otherwise stated. All specifications, dimensions & weights are approximate & are to be used as a guide. Colours may vary. Please note photographs/drawings are not to scale. All prices are subject to delivery costs and applicable VAT. W. Neal Services Ltd reserves the right to alter any specifications. *For warranty terms please see our full Terms & Conditions. E&OE.
